Triumph Motorcycles announces its arrival in india


It’s been a while since various automotive websites and blogs are predicting the launch date of the iconic Triumph motorcycles , in India. The British motorcycle manufacturer has finally announced that it will enter Indian market with seven of its most popular bikes from each of its four model families namely Roadster , Adventure , Modern Classic and Cruisers. With the Indian bike market scenario improving each day with the international launches; it seems the bike enthusiasts are finally in a situation where they always wanted to be , with lots of choices.


Ashish Joshi , managing , Director , Triupmh Motorcycles India , said the motorcycles that are to be launched in India are deliberately chosen to showcase almost all of the Triumph range in the developing nation. The selected vehicles which got its ticket to India are Bonneville , Speed Triple , and Street Triple. Alongside these will be the off-roader Tiger 800XC and supersport bike Daytona 675. From the cruiser family , Triumph Storm and Rocket III will join the squad to India.

The company which will showcase the to-be-launched motorcycles at Auto Expo 2012 has a plan to set-up CKD assembly facility here in India , which will enable consumers to avoid the hefty duty levied on Completely Built Units.
The crowd of international motorcycles on Indian roads is only increasing and everyone seems to be happy without any complains.
